International Justice using International law
An internationally accepted legal framework guiding the behavior of different nations in terms of their mutual relationships is called International law. Everything related to this law takes place under the watchful eyes of United Nation. International law is subcategorized into public international law, private international law, and supranational law.
International Court of Justice is an important organization of United Nation where trials related to international issues are held. Chapter-14 of UN charter allows for international court rulings .However, it can be vetoed by permanent members of Security Council. There is also another international court specializing in criminal activity- International Criminal Court.
International Court of justice doesn’t entertain cases related to individuals, corporations, etc. It should be kept in mind that jurisdiction of such court is not compulsory. Moreover, thematic courts like-International Criminal Court doesn’t fall under the supervision of International Court of justice.
In order to fight international cases, you should have a very efficient lawyer. He must be able to speak more than one international language and have good grip on international affairs and law. Be sure that such a lawyer is going to charge you far higher than a normal lawyer.
